January 2021 – Innovations for Discerning Taste Buds

It all started in 2020 with a partnership between Canmore’s Wild Life Distillery and the hotel’s head mixologist, Nils Schabert, when they created the Fairview Gin featuring local yarrow leaves. The immense success of this project led to the creation of many bottled cocktails.

Now this program has grown to include Fort Distillery in Edmonton who we partnered with to create our regional signature bottle collections. Our newest venture is a partnership with Park Distillery, in Banff Townsite leads us to the creation of Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise’s own rye whisky, the first to be bottled in the Bow Valley

December 2020 – Guide’s Pantry Grand Opening

Replacing the Chateau Deli, The Guides Pantry opened on December 15th, 2020.

The restaurant’s all-day menu features tasty and convenient options for an easy grab-and-go option. As per Fairmont’s commitment to sustainability, packaging containers were carefully designed to ensure minimal environmental impact while local foods are sourced whenever possible.
