Fairmonts Mountain Hotels Travel Awards

July 9, 2020

BANFF AB – Travel + Leisure magazine has just released its World’s Best Awards for 2020, and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in Canada’s Western Mountain Region – Whistler, Lake Louise, Banff and Jasper – took home four of the coveted “Top 10 Resort Hotels in Canada” awards.

Each spring, Travel + Leisure magazine polls its readers on their opinions about travel experiences around the world. Hotels are then ranked based on facilities, location, service, food, and overall value.  Claiming the #4 position on the “Top 10 Resort Hotels in Canada” list was the luxurious ski in/ski out Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Coming in at #5, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise received a nod from a knowledgeable guest stating, “There aren’t enough good things I can say about the beauty of the location, the thoughtfulness of the staff, and the overall experience”. Canada’s iconic castle in the Rockies, Fairmont Banff Springs, was ranked #6 and the luxurious collection of cabins that make up Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge ensured the luxury hotel company swept the category with a #9 ranking.

“We would like to thank the readers and voters of Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards for recognizing our teams’ efforts,” said David Roberts, Regional Vice President, Canada’s Western Mountain Region, and General Manager, Fairmont Banff Springs. “These awards acknowledge the hard work, dedication, and genuine passion for hospitality of each and every Fairmont colleague in our region, and I’m immensely proud of their efforts.”

Guests wishing to experience these quintessentially Canadian luxury resorts can do so by booking the “Passport Offer”, which provides increasing discounts for subsequent stays. Further information can be found online at Adventure-Here.com.
