Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Launches Summer Wellness Workshops Fall Retreats

June 10, 2020

– Seven retreats and two wellness workshops unveiled for travelers seeking wellness experiences in the Canadian Rockies –

Lake Louise, AB – In anticipation of Global Wellness Day this Saturday, June 13, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise has unveiled seven Lake Louise Wellness retreats as part of its fall 2020 line-up and is introducing two new Weekend Wellness Workshops that will be available to guests this summer. This year will mark the resort’s ninth year of offering retreats in the world-class natural setting of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Facilitated by seven renowned wellness leaders, the retreats are designed to appeal to a broad range of individuals seeking a transformative travel experience. The retreats are more than the typical yoga retreat and offerings range from mindfulness, meditation and yoga, to self-discovery and life-redesign retreats.

Demand for wellness travel experiences continues to grow in 2020 and as Skift recently reported, people want to take a break from it all and return home feeling reset from the state of Permanxiety.

Lake Louise is an attractive destination for both local and international travelers seeking meaning, purpose and personal fulfilment from their vacation. “Our wellness guests aren’t just coming to Lake Louise because we’re a bucket list destination. They are coming for the transformative experience of which the incredible natural landscape plays an integral part,” says Davina Bernard, Director of Wellness at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is the only resort in Banff National Park with a consistent offering of wellness retreats. The resort first introduced mindfulness, meditation and yoga retreats in 2011. Led by a local Albertan facilitator, Tracey Delfs, the resort saw success in these retreats and has been offering an array of workshops every year since.

As a year-round, luxury wellness destination, guests of the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise have the option to participate in a retreat or to continue their wellness journey in a self-guided style. Lake Louise is an ideal location for ‘forest bathing’ and for mindful activities; from canoeing and hiking in the summer, to snowshoeing and ice skating in the winter. Guests have the option to embrace whole body wellness with a spa treatment and to join one of the many complimentary fitness and wellness classes that take place in the resort’s newly renovated wellness rooms.

Retreat rates start at $1060 CAD for a three-night, all-inclusive wellness retreat. Find your perfect retreat today.
