Yoga and Fitness Classes
We offer an array of complimentary fitness/wellness classes that are designed to help guests maintain their wellness goals and routines while they are traveling. Our fitness classes are suitable for all experience levels. Yoga mats and in-room wellness packages are available complimentary for in-house guests. These amenities can be picked-up from the Concierge Desk.
Reservations are essential for all classes. Please contact concierge to book. Participants must be at least 13 years old.
Get the family together and have some fun out in the sun. Our Fairmont Fitness Instructor, Gemma, and Maddy, our Kids Camp Coordinator, have a fun workout for everyone to join!
Fairmont Fitness isn’t just for the adults. Our team have from fitness and kids camp have joined forces and created a fun, energetic and light hearted class for kids aged 8 and up.
Who said the adults should have all the fun? Join us for a fun, energetic and light hearted class specifically designed for teens aged 13-17.
Lake Shore Run Club
Get the blood pumping and the legs moving first thing in the morning, while enjoying the incredible mountain views we have to offer in Lake Louise. Join us for a light hearted jog along the lake shore to start the day. Suitable for any fitness levels or jogging abilities, this class is all about enjoying the morning mountain air, rather than training for a marathon.
Stretch & Roll
Wind down after a day of adventuring. Our 45 minute class with simple stretches and the use of a foam roller and massage balls to help fatigued muscles recover faster, will leave you feeling relaxed and ready for another day outdoors tomorrow.
Join us for this all levels class! Our yoga instructor will open class with some gentle movements then guide you through an energizing flow and close class with long held relaxing poses leaving you feeling tranquil and re-energized ready to take on the rest of your day.
RECOVERY ROLL OUT & STRETCH
A fusion of self-myofascial release (self-massage) using foam rollers, blocks and myofascial balls to release tension in the tissues and joints and juicy stretches to compliment each technique. Myofascial release is proven to improve flexibility and mobility, reduce pain, anxiety, stress and is deeply relaxing. Open to all levels and physical abilities.
YOGA NIDRA MEDITATION
Yoga Nidra is an ancient style of yoga that helps the practitioner achieve a state of mind between wake and sleep, while enhancing your well-being. This state is similar to lucid dreaming and is often called yogic sleep. Yoga nidra is similar to meditation, yet different from other forms of yoga. Physically speaking, it is the easiest form of yoga and can be done by guests of all ages and abilities.
OUTDOOR SUNSET YOGA FLOW
Join us for a yin/yang style class outside as the sun sets in the mountains. We will start class with a short gentle flow and then move into some slower longer help poses to connect deeper to our bodies and to the magical surroundings of Lake Louise.
SLOW IT DOWN: MIND, BODY, SOUL
Restorative and Yin Yoga poses with plenty of yoga cushions and blankets are sure to bring you into a restful, still state of mind. Allow our Yoga Instructor to guide you into stillness of mind, body and soul. This class is geared towards those who are looking to let go of tension, stress and allow themselves to enter a state of deep relaxation and slow down their nervous systems.
OUTDOOR FLUID YOGA FLOW
Experience Lake Louise from a yoga mat feeling the connections with nature surrounding you. A moderate level yoga class where we move from pose to pose in sync with the breath. Build strength and flexibility while enjoying the great outdoors.
