Todd Porter has worked at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise since 2002. Starting as a Banquet Server, Todd proved himself in many rolls working his way to his current position. Todd had the privilege to be name Colleague of the Year in 2014. He oversees large winter incentive groups regularly and has mastered ensuring that the programs are seamless. He is immensely proud to play a part in providing successful and positive group experiences in a world class winter destination. Todd is a devoted father to two children and enjoys cooking on his free time. He is an avid hot sauce consumer and has more than 110 varieties in his kitchen!


Senior Conference Services Manager 403-522-1814

John brings over 43 years of hotel and convention centre experience to his current role as Senior Conference Services & Catering Manager, with the past 15 years at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Career highlights include holding senior executive level positions at civic convention centres in London, ON and Calgary, AB and the coordination of many high profile events for royalty, heads of state and high profile incentive programs. John is passionate about ‘the details’; the technical/logistical components of event planning, precise execution and menu planning. John enjoys gardening, fine wines, cuisine, classical music and international travel.

After living in the Bow Valley for over 13 years, Jeff continues to love every moment of living where people come for their bucket list vacation. He started his career with Delta Hotels and Resorts in Kananaskis, Alberta where he gained valuable leadership experience in Front Office, Restaurants and Banquets during his 8.5 years there. His next move was to Lake Louise where his love for Hospitality and the mountains continues to be as strong as ever. Jeff enjoys golfing, hiking, camping and playing softball in the summer, and snowboarding and skiing in the winter. He is proud to be able to combine his experience in hotel operations and passion for the Rocky Mountains to create unforgettable experiences and memories for his clients.

Jessica Tigner has worked at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise since 2013, joining the Conference Services team in June, 2018. Jessica has a personable approach, ensuring that those around her are at ease and are enjoying the process of planning their big event. Jessica started at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in the student work experience program, quickly moving into the position of Tour Operations Manager, where she was recognized by tour partners as Hotel of the Year and Leader of the Month in 2017. In her personal time, Jessica enjoys cooking, reading and traveling. Having been to all 50 United States and 32 Fairmont properties, she hopes to add more trips within Canada in the coming years.


Wedding & Catering Manager 403-522-1812

Jennifer was born and raised in Ontario where she attended Fanshawe College for Hotel Management and specialized in Concierge Services. After finishing college, Jennifer moved to Australia to set off on a solo backpacking adventure. Not long after returning home to Ontario, Jennifer was on the move again but this time to Banff, right in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Jennifer joined Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for the first time in 2011, working in various positions. In 2015, Jennifer left the Rocky Mountains and headed to the West Coast to a little town called Tofino. Here, Jennifer gained experience working in boutique hotels and found her passion for weddings.  After spending four years on the west coast, with a large number of weddings under her belt, Jennifer has returned to the Rocky Mountains and rejoined Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise 2019 as the Wedding & Catering Manager. Jennifer can’t wait to make your wedding dreams become a reality!

Chef Fortin has been cooking professionally for more than twenty years and thrives through testing himself to reach new heights and taking on new challenges all over Canada. Having moved back and forth between Québec, Alberta and New Brunswick during his culinary career, Chef Fortin finally responded to his calling as Executive Chef at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in September 2016. Chef Fortin brings a unique Québec flair, passion for good food and culinary innovation to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Here, his culinary team prepares approximately one million meals a year, averaging to 3,000 per day and up to 5,000 per day in the summer months. With a passion for providing guests with an authentically local and sustainable dining experience, Chef Fortin aspires to build strong relationships with regional farmers, artisans and purveyors and make long-lasting contributions to Lake Louise and the Bow Valley.
