Proposed Thermal Wellness Facility
Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise has applied for a development permit to build a state-of-the-art, eco-friendly well-being thermal wellness facility proposed to be located on the site of the hotel’s previous outdoor pool— which was built in 1926 and closed in 1980. Our ambition is that the new facility will set a worldwide standard for guest experience as well as low-impact design and construction.
As a Parks Canada requirement for the Development Permit Application for a proposed thermal wellness facility to replace the demolished outdoor pool at the Chateau lake Louise, a public information session was held to provide a project overview and answer any community questions. The public consultation period closed at 5 PM MST on March 17th, 2022.
